Lianne La Havas: Is Your Love Big Enough? Review

If you were to match Is Your Love Big Enough? to a beverage counterpart I would hazard a guess at a piping hot cup of Mr Scruff chill tea  with an ingredient consisting  of  rooibos, pear and cinnamon. A bittersweet steamy broth. Yes, this girl has been keeping us all on our toes since her spotless performance on Jools Holland just eight months ago, setting our expectations ever so high with the release of the wonderful No Room For Doubt featuring Willy Mason. Expectations have however very much surpassed the bar that was set. This girl knows how to write a tune, and what’s more startling is that La Havas is only 23 years of age. Yet in spite of her youth her music tells of a wisdom that can only be obtained through hard lived experience. Girls been dragged through a bush of break-ups, make-ups, older men and cinemas. This surely explaining her wild bangs. So to answer your question Lianne, yeah…our love is big enough.
