The devilishly handsome Lion Babe are fast becoming one of those bands whose names seem to be creeping up just about everywhere. They are literally one more video release away from featuring as the soundtrack to every Urban Outfitters shop internationally. The sumptuous vocals and turgid locks of Jillian Hervey accompanied by the minimal but feisty production of Lucas Goodman (who bares an undeniable resemblance to Adam Sackler of Girls), make for a somewhat sweet middle ground between the realms of pop, R&B and electronica. The (re)visuals for "Treat Me Like Fire" taken from the self-titled EP released last month show the ridiculously attractive pair flailing about to a somewhat somber B&W filter as Hervey literally tries to keep her head up straight under the weight of her hefty maine. Babe, buy a neck brace.

Björk’s Vulnicura leaked

It's nothing short of a creative tragedy when a musicians music gets strewn across the internet like yesterdays dirty skivvys before its intended release date. Madonna recently referred to the leaking of her 13 unfinished demos as an act or "terrorism" and "rape". Babe, shut up, sit down and relish in the following. Björk’s Vulnicura has reportedly been leaked two months early. Nothing has been confirmed as a final mix or track sequence but what has been confirmed is that Acra and Haxan Cloak have partnered with Iceland's most precious bae in the production of Vulnicura making for a beautifully sinister, and a deeply emotional tone reminiscent of  Björk’s Vespertine. Leaking truly is a pearl.

FKA Twigs drops video for Pendulum

FKA Twigs may just be the most reliable musician EVER! With a visual out-put surpassing the likes of, well, every other musician in 2014 with her collaboration with Nabil for "Two Weeks" and the unforgettable "Video Girl", Twigs now hits us all with her latest self-directed video for "Pendulum". It's next to impossible to detect that this is her first shot at directing. Not only does she visually capture the crass desperation and longing whispered through her lyrics and audio through images of constraint as she is somewhat uncomfortably tied by her braided her and suspended mid air, but she captures in equal measure her sense of sexual vulnerability and empowerment in a way no other video director could have. FKA Twigs know's her sound, she knows her image and more still, she knows her body. ILY FKA.

Willow Smith: Female Energy

To truly appreciate and understand Willow Smith will require obliterating any knowledge of her past, albeit very short. Wipe out those glossified images of her Hollywood ma n' pa. Forget her brother. Immediately remove all knowledge or memory of the heinous "Whip My Hair". Simply plug in those headphones and spend the next four minutes listening to the voice of a teenage artist battling and questioning ideas of science, existentialism and human love.

Yes it may sound catastrophically pretentious, a 13-year-old Hollywood yuppie questioning notions of space, time and the perils of human existence, but there is something refreshingly sincere about her prose and something undeniably satisfying about her sound. Her tone, her flows, her lyrics are instantly memorable and its aesthetic isn't a far cry from the sounds of SZA, a clear mentor in Willow's craftsmanship. The future certainly looks dazzling for Will and Jada's love child.
